With all of the competing pulls for our attention and attempts to sway our focus, our responsibility as followers of Jesus Christ is to uphold and protect the whole body of truth, which at its core is the gospel of faith.

Big Idea: The man of  God upholds and protects the body of truth.

1. Embrace the truth of  the gospel (3-5)
2. Practice godliness with contentment (6-8)
3. Flee from worldliness (9-11a)
4. Actively pursue faith and godliness in your calling (11b-12)
