Doesn’t our suffering suppress our hope of assurance? According to Paul, instead of extinguishing hope, suffering fuels hope. The Holy Spirit within us reminds us that we are destined for coming glory—a glory so great that it pales in comparison to our current suffering.

Big Idea: Christian, your coming glory is greater than your current suffering! It is so great, that all of creation is groaning for it!
