A sermon by Pastor Tim Vusik from Exodus 15:1-21
Exodus 15 contains the first recorded song of the Hebrew nation. Moses pens this song and it is all about God. The context and contents are about God. Its focus is solely on God and its reason is founded on God. The central act that is emphasized is God’s redemption and the people’s response.
Big Idea: We worship the Lord because, in love, we have been redeemed to be His own!
- Redemption Causes God’s People to Praise Him (1-6, 19-21)
- Redemption Reveals God’s Uniqueness (7-12)
- Redemption is Rooted in God’s Special Love for His People (13-18)
