Living Beautifully at Home: A Call to Wives | 1 Peter 3:1-6

As the Gospel spread throughout Asia Minor, many women in pagan marriages began to put their trust in Christ. This conversion was often seen as an act of rebellion against their husbands. Facing various challenges, these wives were uncertain about how to proceed. Peter’s response, both then and now, might come as a surprise to many.

Big Idea: A wife’s beautiful behavior in the home is demonstrated by her humble submission, her hidden beauty, and her hopeful faith.

Wife, show Jesus in your marriage through:

1. Humble submission that influences your husband (1-2)
2. Hidden beauty that pleases your Lord (3-4)
3. Hopeful faith that identifies your lineage (5-6)
