Why did a sinful woman love Jesus more deeply than a respected religious leader? In Luke 7:36–50, we see that those who truly grasp the depth of their forgiveness cannot remain cold toward Christ because forgiven sinners become passionate worshipers.

Big Idea: The extravagant love reveals a deep awareness of forgiven sin, which flows from saving faith in Christ.
