Throughout the gospel, Matthew's message to his readers is simple: Jesus is the Christ, and there is none greater than Him. As Jesus closes His exchange with the scribe and Pharisees in Matthew 12, He drives this point home: To reject Him is to reject God's greatest message and our greatest hope.

Big Idea: The greatness of Christ demands a radical response of faith.
