On Trial: What Does Jesus Deserve? | Matthew 26:57-68

“What do you think?” asked Caiaphas. What does He deserve? The answer in our text is—He’s worthy of death! But what do we think? Let's examine four portraits of Jesus and consider our response to each.

Big Idea: Jesus, who was unjustly condemned to death, is deserving of our trust, confession, worship, and following.

1. Jesus, the Innocent One: Trust Him as Your Savior (57-61)
2. Jesus, the Silent One: Confess Him as Your Substitute (62-63a)
3. Jesus, the Majestic One: Worship Him as Your Sovereign (63b-66)
4. Jesus, the Meek One: Follow Him as Your Shepherd (67-68)
