Swine over Savior?! | Matthew 8:28-34

A sermon by Pastor Tim Vusik from Matthew 8:28-34

In this passage, we see the beginning of Jesus’ war on Satan and his angles, which will crescendo on the cross and ultimately, when he is cast into the lake of fire!

Theme: Jesus is the Son of God who has authority and willingness to rescue the powerless and unwilling from their bondage to sin.

There are practical implications to Jesus being the Son of God. Because Jesus is the Son of God:

1. He Delivers From the Bondage of Sin (28)
2. He Destroys the Work of the Enemy (29-32)
3. He Designates What is Truly Valuable (33-34)
