Matthew records Christ's miracles to reveal not only the nature of the His Kingdom but also the nature of the King. These miracles reveal His true identity - He is the Christ, God with us! The record of His walking on water focuses our attention on His divinity, leading His disciples into greater faith.

Big Idea: Trust Jesus fully even in impossible situations because He is God who is with us and saves us!
