The Benefit of Trials | James 1:1-8

The Christian life is filled with problems. They come uninvited and unexpected. Sometimes they come singly and sometimes in masses. They are inevitable. The question is, “What are we going to do about them?"

Big Idea: We should regard trials as blessed opportunities to grow in our trust in God and His plan of salvation.

1. Our Perspective in Trials Should be Joy (1-2)
2. Our Perseverance in Trials will Produce Maturity (3-4)
3. Our Promise in Trials is the Increase in Wisdom (vv.5-8)
