Treasure & Pearl: A People for God’s Own Possession | Matthew 13:44-46

The parables of treasure and pearl are some of the most well-known of all the parables of Christ. The most common interpretation of these parables is this: the Kingdom of Heaven is worth giving up everything for! Certainly, this truth is emphasized throughout the Gospels and the rest of the NT. But as meaningful as this interpretation might be, there is a more contextually-informed, Christ-centered interpretation.

Big Idea: Behold your God who graciously gave up His own life to purchase you to be His treasured possession.
