The idea of membership is familiar to all of us. We are members of many things: gyms, teams, stores, and unions. Church membership, however, is more than just a club membership; it’s a declaration. By His Doing, For His Glory | 1 Corinthians 1:30-31
Sunday Jun 23, 2024
Sunday Jun 23, 2024
A sermon by Pastor Tim Vusik from 1 Corinthians 1:30-31.
Today, we can find many plans in the world that offer to improve our health or increase our wealth. There are also plans that propose ways to work your way to God—every religion has them—but they are all doomed to fail because no human plan addresses your sin. Only God, in His wisdom, solves our sin problem by Himself so that all praise goes to Him.
Big Idea: Our salvation is entirely from the Lord so that our boasting may be entirely in the Lord.
God Alone Saves Us (30a)
Christ Alone Enriches Us (30b)
The Lord Alone Deserves Our Boasting (31)
